BLACKPOOL, FYLDE AND WYRE DANCE AUDIT WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU We are carrying out a comprehensive audit of dance activities across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. We want to hear from every type of dance provider in every town, village and hamlet throughout the four corners of the Fylde coast. If you’re involved in ballet, after school dance groups, ballroom and tea dances, street dance, contemporary dance or anything in between we want to hear from you. Whether professional or amateur, young or old, voluntary or commercial dance we want to find out who’s working and delivering dance activities. We want to connect with you and listen to your ideas as we’re going to be championing dance across the Fylde coast. This is a fantastic chance for us to increase resources, opportunities and participation. WHY FILL IT IN? If you fill in this audit then we can understand what you want and need to support dance. It also helps us to see where the gaps are and what the strengths and weaknesses are but we need to find out what is already happening. If there are fantastic clog dancers in Layton then we need to know, likewise if there are free runners in Fleetwood – get in touch. WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE INFORMATION? The audit provides us with essential feedback on the views of dance artists and those who support dance. We would like to create a database of organisations and individuals who are involved with dance so that we are able to start an informal ...

BLACKPOOL, FYLDE AND WYRE DANCE AUDIT
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU
We are carrying out a comprehensive audit of dance activities across
Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.
We want to hear from every type of dance provider in every town, village and
hamlet throughout the four corners of the Fylde coast. If you’re involved in
ballet, after school dance groups, ballroom and tea dances, street dance,
contemporary dance or anything in between we want to hear from you.
Whether professional or amateur, young or old, voluntary or commercial
dance we want to find out who’s working and delivering dance activities.
We want to connect with you and listen to your ideas as we’re going to be
championing dance across the Fylde coast.
This is a fantastic chance for us
to increase resources, opportunities and participation.
WHY FILL IT IN?
If you fill in this audit then we can understand what you want and need to
support dance. It also helps us to see where the gaps are and what the
strengths and weaknesses are but we need to find out what is already
happening. If there are fantastic clog dancers in Layton then we need to
know, likewise if there are free runners in Fleetwood – get in touch.
WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE INFORMATION?
The audit provides us with essential feedback on the views of dance artists
and those who support dance. We would like to create a database of
organisations and individuals who are involved with dance so that we are able
to start an informal dialogue and keep you informed of future developments.
We would really appreciate your help in completing this audit and forwarding
copies to people from any organisation, school or artist who you know is
involved with dance. We recognise that dance is hugely varied and includes
many forms and styles.
We are keen to ensure that all forms of dance and
individuals, in whatever form and context, are included in this audit.
Blackpool Council will hold the information, but it will be shared across the
partnership. Please return by July 31
