Deep CondiIoning at Home: AlternaIve Ways without a Hair Steamer
Deep condiIoning the hair will help your hair to look healthier, shinier, and soTer. However, not everyone has a steamer at home. he only soluIons that most people come up with are (a) buy the steamer and (b) go to the salon to have the treatment done. he problem with these soluIons is the money, for my personal reason. he steamer isn’t exactly a cheap item. Going to the salon while having a restricted budget? Really, ï can’t aFord it.
But don’t you worry, there are some great and craTy soluIons that you can try at home. You can sIll have a deep condiIoning treatment without having to spend a fortune. And your hair will look just îne and healthy as if you were treated by the professional hairstylist at the salon. Do not use a regular hair condiIoner, always make sure you use a deep condiIoning treatment such as anargan oil hair masquewhich is designed to penetrate your hair strands beer.
The Perfect Method irst, you need to prepare two shower caps, two (or even three towels), the condiIoner, and you should be good to go. Place one towel (preferably a face towel) in the microwave and heat it up for 40 seconds. ATer you have condiIoned your hair (including all the necessary hair and scalp massage), wrap your hair with the îrst shower cap. Don’t forget to wrap the second towel around your neck so you won’t suFer from the hot water drip. hen place the hot towel from the microwave on top of the shower cap. And wrap the whole thing with the second shower cap to seal the heat. ïf you want to, you can cover the enIre hair and towel with the third towel to preserve the heat. But this method is opIonal, depending on your preference and comfort. Let the hot towel stay on your head unIl it cools down. ït takes 10 to 15 minutes for the towel to cool oF. You can repeat the process and reheat the towel again. he procedure can be done for 30 minutes and you can enjoy the silky and lustrous eFect.
Heat is important in the deep condiIoning procedure. hat’s why having a steamer will be a great help to make the process go smooth. However, if you are low on the budgets, this alternaIve method can help you to manage your own hair treatment without having to spend a fortune.
Another AlternaIve Some people that ï know use a similar method but with a diFerent applicaIon. A friend of mine likes to dip a face towel in a hot boiling water and let it cool for a while before wrapping the towel around the condiIoned hair. When the towel cools oF, she repeats the procedure again and again. She doesn’t use themicrowave-steamed toweland the shower caps. She said that the warm towel is already enough to generate the heat needed for the hair directly.
ït is up to you to choose which method you like the best. As long as you are careful, you should be îne with great hair as the result.
