Bikram Yoga

More specifically every student is taught to link every movement as they change postures to a breath. The ashtanga style yoga class is divided into a total of six series. Each of the six series contains specific postures and the level of difficulty increases as you move from one series to the next in the sequence.
Kundalini Yoga
The kundalini style of yoga incorporates many moving parts which includes meditation, breathing exercises, postures, and chants. This style was introduced to western culture in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan. One of the unique attributes of the kundalini style of yoga is its emphasis on spiritual awakening and awareness. Within this style of yoga it is believed that spiritual awareness is achieved by releasing energy from the base of the spine. This in turn moves energy through our seven chakras. In kundalini yoga chakra represent the centers of our bodies. Each of the seven chakras is connected to different organs and glands. It is believed that if there is blockage to any of our chakras it can led to health issues.
