The Skeletool CX is a fantastic simple multi-tool that is an exceptional piece of engineering, built and designed by Leatherman. I have personally used this multi-tool for a year working in an auto mechanic shop and it is a fantastic yet simple tool. The multi-tool contains// needle nose and regular pliers, hard and regular wire cutters, a 6.60cm (2.6”) knife, carabiner, bottle opener, and selective screwdriver bits. The tool is 10cm (4”) long closed, and comes in weighing at 142g (5 oz) being very compact. This is the perfect tool if you are looking for a simple yet sturdy and trustful tool that comes with the most necessary tools on it The positives of the tool shine like a sun on a summer day. It is an extremely simple tool that is very easy to handle and operate. It is small, compact and can fit into many pockets with ease. It also comes with a belt clip which is relatively easy to clip on, but a fantastic carabiner that is the best way I found to keep the tool secure on you, the end of the carabiner is a bottle opener as well which I found to be quite useful at times. The tool is very simple which makes it also very easy to repair. The blade is very good quality and, myself using it 5 times a week for a year, only needed to sharpen it a couple times. You can get it with a serrated blade, or a straight blade (I bought the straight bladed one). Leatherman also covers with a huge 25 years warranty. It also comes with 2 sizes of Philips and flathead screwdriver sizes, there is two storage spots for the double ended screwdriver bits on the multi tool. Now these screwdriver bits are quite small and it is possible to lose them but they are easily replaced from online sources or at your local knife shop. All in all the positives greatly outnumber the negatives of this tool. Now obviously there are a few negatives about this tool. I never found this to be a problem, but there is not a huge number of tools on the multi-tool, it is very basic and does not have specialized tools on it. The wire cutters seemed to get dull, and I found myself using actual wire cutters in the mechanic shop as the wire clippers on the Multi-tool were not the same. I also found myself sometimes using actual screwdrivers because the multi-tool was too big to fit into certain tight spots on cars, and sometimes the Multi-tool was a bit awkward to spin. This may come as a surprise or not at all but the grips/pliers were not quite as strong as actual grips/pliers. Finally the last thing that may be a negative is that the lock and unlock for the blade may be a bit confusing if you are not a knife person.

Giving an honest review of this I would say that the Leatherman Skeletool CX is an excellent and simple multi-tool worth the buy. It comes with its flaws but so does everything. If I were to rate it I would give it an 8/10 Pros Cons - Very simple, back to basics - Wire cutters are not amazing - Easy to use, and store in pockets and such - Awkward to spin the screwdriver - The carabiner is amazing for ease of access - Does not have a huge variety o f tools
