The laser is shown in the video breaking up the red, green and black inks into particles small enough for the body to begin to flush them away. This laser uses the force of a light beam breaking the tattoo ink at one trillionth of a second. Since it does not use heat, but uses mechanical light to break up the tattoo ink, the laser is much more effective in fewer visits.
