Grâce à Liszt et à nos amis de l’Ambassade d’Autriche, nous vivons une
saison musicale riche : des concerts interprétés par de grands pianistes
internationaux auront lieu jusqu’en décembre 2011. Notons également
les nombreux rendez-vous musicaux jazz, RnB, ou azmari, les multiples
expositions, le grand baz’art annuel ouvert à tous les artistes, la reprise
du « Buna Philo » ainsi qu’une conférence qui nous aidera à mieux
comprendre ce magnifque pays. Un programme pour tous les publics!

Thanks to Liszt and our friends of the Austrian Embassy, we are experiencing
a fertile musical season: a large and diverse audience will be able to enjoy
great international pianists until December 2011. We also invite you to join
us to numerous jazz, RnB and Azmari concerts, to multiple exhibitions, to the
yearly “grand baz’art” open to all visual artists, to the “Buna Philo” as well as
to a conference which will help us understand better this wonderful country.

avait été investi en 1944, son fls Hanfare Ali-Mirah sera intronisé comme
sultan le 10 novembre 2011. C’est à cette occasion qu’est proposée cette
conférence pour mieux comprendre quelques aspects de l’histoire
5complexe du peuple Afar.
The Awsa area has been for centuries the centre of political
entities which federate a major part of the Afar people. In the 18th century
the Modayto people founded a sultanate which still exists nowadays, thus DEC. 2011 retaining their identity and autonomy while taking part into the construction
process of present-day Ethiopia. After the death in April 2011 of Ali-Mirah,

Sensibilisé très tôt à la musique par sa mère, chanteuse de gospel,
Maurice Kirya (prix RFI) a su forger son propre style, alliant piano
et guitare.
Sa musique est un rare mélange de Soul et de RnB infuencée par la
beauté et l’esprit unique de l’Ouganda.
