This catalog of online courses was printed from a database of Staff Development Solutions on the website of the University of North Texas Lifelong Education @ Desktop (LE@D). For a list of cur-rent courses, visit www.leadonline.info. New courses are added each month. LE@Ds Staff Development Solutions includes three component, all designed to help supervisors and staff members discover and agree upon affordable and readily-available online training options. 1. An online self-analysis: Staff members select areas where they would like to improve their skills and knowledge. At the end of the online self-analysis, they are provided with a list of avail-able online courses that meet their needs. 2. A searchable database of core competencies*, skills, and the available online courses which can teach those skills to library staff members. By typing in a keyword, competency, skill, or library staff position, the database will link to the online course, description, cost (if any), and availability. 3. This print catalog is a pdf file which can be printed from the LE@D website. It is updated as courses are added, so please check the website at www.leadonline.info for newly added courses. This catalog is sorted by library position and the core competencies that are generally needed by people in that posi-tion. Courses which teach the core competencies are listed in the right-hand column with the name of the provider of that course. The web locations (urls) of each provider are listed on the next page. Linked information about each course and provide is avail-able at these websites. For further information, please visit Lifelong Education @ Desktop at www.leadonline.info or call 940-565-2502.
