• In our school we use a thematic approach to the
curriliculum.
• In Year One the theme in the Spring term is called
‘Where does our food come from?’ The work is based on
the ffollllowing key questtiions.

• Can I say what foods will help me to stay healthy?
• Do I understand what plants need to grow?
• Can I understand some of the characteristics of living
