When I was a farmer, a Farmer's Boy,  I used to keep my master's HORSES, With a G EE -WO here, and a G EE -WO there,  And here a G EE , and there a G EE ,  And everywhere a G EE ; My pretty lass, will you come to the banks of the Aire oh?
Says I,
When I was a farmer, a Farmer's Boy,
 I used to keep my master's LAMBS,
With a B AA -BAA here, and a B AA -BAA there,
