Art and cuisine
ART ET SAVEURS (art and flavours) Since 2005, Tables et Saveurs de Bretagne has held a competition in conjunction with the Brit-tany Tourist Board for artists, painters, photogra-phers and sculptors who combine Breton cuisine with their artistic creations. If true art is about transforming materials and ex-ploring new ideas, then true gastronomy is about creativity, originality and appealing to the senses. A call for participants is launched every year in all the major art schools, on specialist websites and on the Brittany Tourist Board’s own site at www. brittanytourism.com. Every year, the jury is comprised of contemporary art professionals and Tables et Saveurs de Breta-gne chefs, together with partners of the associa-tion.
