 Riverside is a City of Arts & Innovation and we have seen exceptional growth in the culinary arts during the past few years. Dining can be an exciting artistic experience! While we welcome national restaurants, we celebrate those which have found a niche for themselves in our community. According to Restaurant Critic Allan Borgen, Riverside has a depth and variety fitting a city on the move like Riverside.    One of the most exciting culinary experiences of the year is Restaurant Week brought to us by “Fine Dining Riverside” each September, see www.finediningriverside.com. With the opening of the Fox Performing Arts Center this year, it is my hope that you will plan to make an afternoon or evening of it by attending a play or concert and enjoying a meal at one of Riverside’s Top 25 Restaurants.

 It is more important than ever that you support local restaurants and tell others when you find restaurants that you really like. I have enjoyed a meal at many of the restaurants included in the guide. My wife, Marsha, and I already have plans to seek out those which are new to us. Enjoy!
