Seashell Pullover
A cool and easy summer pull with a striped feather and fan border.
Materials:Tweed Seta, 50g Colour A (Beige), Colour B (Green) and Colour C (Gray) x 2 balls each Colour D (Blue) x 5 balls each
Needles(US 7) needIes, and 4mm (US 6) 40cm (16 inch) circular or double pointed: 4.5mm needles (or needle size to give correct tension)
Tension: 19 sts=4 inches on 4.5mm (US 7) needles in stocking stitch (st st)

ending on a wrong side row. Shape armholes: Cast(86) sts remain.on 6 sts at beginning of next two rows.68 (78) Continue even until piece measures 22 (23) (24) inches from cast on edge, ending on a wrong side row. Shape shoulders and neck:Work across 24 (28) (31) sts, place center 20 (22) (24) sts on a holder. Join on more yarn and work across remaining 24 (28) (31) sts. Working both sides at the same time, continue even until piece measures 23 (24) (25) inches from cast on edge, ending on a wrong side row. Cast off 24 (28) (31) sts for shoulder on each side.
Front Work as given for Back, incIuding armhole shaping, until piece measures 20.5 (21 .5) (22.5) inches from cast on edge, ending on a wrong side row. Shape neck:Work across 29 (33) (36) sts, place center 10 (l2) (14) sts on a holder. Join on more yarn and work across remaining 29 (33) (36) sts. Sleeves: With 4.5mm (US 7) needles and A, cast on 72 sts. Work in feather and fan Stitch in stripe sequence as foIlows: 4 rows A, 4 rows B, 4 rows C, 8 rows A, 8 rows B, 8 rows C,12 rows A, 12 rows B, 12 rows C. Change to st st and D, increasing 1 st at each end of needle On next and every following 5th (4th) (4th) row until76 (80) (84) sts on needle. Neckband: Sew both shoulder seams. With 4mm (US 6) circular or double pointed needIes and D, right side facing, begin at left shoulder seam. Pick up and knit l5 sts down Ieft front neck edge to front holder. Knit across 10 (12) (14) sts from hoIder, and pick up and K 15 sts up right front neck edge to right shoulder seam and 5 sts to back holder. Knit across 20 (22) (24) sts from holder, and pick up and knit 5 sts to left shoulder seam.70 (74} (78) sts.Work 6 rounds in Seed Stitch. Cast off in Seed Stitch.
Finishing: Sew last few rows along side edges of Sleeves to cast off sts at bottom of armholes. Sew in cast off edge of Sleeves to remaining rows of armhole, matching center cast off markers to shoulder seams. Sew side and sleeve seams.
