YOUR CAMP ADVENTURE STARTS HERE! Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA 2012 Summer Camp Guide Our missiOn: The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA Summer Camp program is dedicated to improving the quality of human life and to helping all people realize their fullest potential as children of God through development of the spirit, mind and body. We are committed to providing your child with a safe, enriching summer camp experience that incorporates the YMCA’s four core values of Honesty, Responsibility, Respect and Caring. Camp is a fun place for your child to meet friends and learn new skills. You can also expect that your child will benefit by learning lifelong skills about becoming a great person with excellent character. Throughout the week, campers will participate in a variety of activities that teach our character values while being encouraged and recognized for demonstrating these values throughout their camp experience. At the Y, character counts. We know that the quality of your child’s camp experience hinges on the excellence of our staff members. Because our staff team means so much to each of our campers, we focus on selecting, retaining and training the best Camp Leaders and Unit Leaders. Our staff members are engaging, energetic, fun and excited to spend each day of camp teaching and interacting with your child.
