each year an Official Register of the United States, which shall contain a full
complete list of all persons occupying administrative and supervisoryand
positions in the 'e-iis'ative, executive and judicial branches of the Govern-
ment, including- the District of CoHimbia, in connection with which salaries
are paid from the Treasury of the United States. The register shall show the
official title; salarv, compensat'on, and emoluments; legal residencename;
and place of employment for each person listed therein: Provided, hoivever.
contain the name of any postmaster orThat the Official Register shall not
postmaster, or any officer of the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps,assistant

Commission compileSec. 2. To enable the United States Civil Service to

aMowed to any officer, clerk, or employee of the United States Civil Service
Commiss'on for comniMng the Official Register.
Sec. 3. Of the Official Register there shall be printed, bound, and delivered
to the Superintendent of Documents and charged to the Congressional allot-
ment for printing and binding, a sufficient number of copies for disti'ibution
as follows: To the Pi-esident of the United Stat'"?, four copies, one copy of
