Part 2: Products
2.1 Materials

Solid Phenolic toilet partitions, floor mounted
overhead braced BRIO by EAD, distributed by
Sani-tech, Inc. (418) 836-0616.

Solid plastic laminate: in conformity with
CAN3-A172-M79, category SS (self-supporting), of
[19mm.] [3/4 in.] thickness and solid color on both
surfaces with a black core. Solid plastic must be
integral with core: glued plastic laminate on a solid
core is not acceptable.

Satin-Finish Stainless Steel Hardware

Full-length piano hinges for standard toilet
compartments, in heavy-duty 16-gauge stainless
steel type 304, finish #4, inward opening, invisible
from the outside. Model with emergency access
by lifting the door. EAD Product 211-000 or
211-001.
.1.B
Full-length piano hinges for handicapped-access
toilet compartments. In heavy-duty 16-gauge
stainless steel type 304, finish #4, outward opening,
invisible from outside. Model with emergency
access by lifting the door. EAD Product 211-010 or
211-011.

Door latch for standard and handicapped
compartments in heavy-duty 11-gauge stainless
steel type 304, finish #4. Door latch with a handle
that can be grabbed with the hand equipped with
two intregated damping devices. EAD Products
#200-101, guaranteed for life.

Heavy-duty door stop for inward or outward
opening doors. EAD Product no. 2304617.

Coat hook. Heavy-duty, in 11-gaugestainless steel

#5 with clear anodizing, 10 microns. EAD Products

Overhead brace in extruded anodized aluminum
alloy 6063, tempering #5 with clear anodizing, 10
microns, anti-theft with grip-resistant edges. EAD

Pull in D for handicapped-access toilet
compartments in 11-gauge stainless steel, type 304,
finish #4, in conformity with standards 4.2.6.1 and

Anti-theft mounting screws in stainless steel, type
410BH with a special setting which can be removed
with an adapted tool. EAD Products 29308-012 and

2.3 Fabrication

Fabricate doors and partitions of solid
phenolic plastic, [19mm.] [3/4 in.] thick
to the sizes indicated.

Bevel exposed edges uniformly at approximately
20 degrees.
Part 3:Installation
3.1 Partition
.1
With the aid of the appropriate supports, fix the
partitions to the floor perpendicular and square;
brace them tightly.
3.2 Cleaning
.1
At the completion of the installation, remove all
the protective elements, clean finished surfaces
so that they are free of blemishes or spots.
