FOREWORD

The National School of Statistics and Applied Economics (NSSAE) Abidjan is an
institution whose mission is to train statisticians for French-speaking countries.
The teaching approach is adapted to different disciplines to combine theory and
practice.
This training is delivered through four channels tailored to the level of student
recruitment, the options proposed at the entrance and career planned out of
which NSSAE Statistical Works Engineering: Entering A level + 2 - For a 2-year
program.
The Statistical Works Engineering (SWE) is trained for careers in the collection,
analysis and dissemination of statistical information. They are called to serve in
the national statistical and planning, in other administrative services, in public or
private (non-financial companies, banks, insurance research firm, etc ....) of their
country. Their careers may also take place in economic and statistical services of
international organizations.
Placements for Statistical Works Engineers (SWE) supplement the theoretical to
them exemptions to NSSAE and are an integral part of schooling. It is within this
context that we Statistics engineering student works we find the Development
Fund for Vocational Training (DFVT) to complete an internship of four months
from June 6, 2006 to September 30, 2006.

PRESENTATION OF DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FOR VOCATIONAL TRAINING

, 1959 the Ivorian government has instituted a tax-free learning
destination is clear. This tax represents 0.3% of annual payroll business. On
October 13

, 1966 the State created the Office of National Vocational Training
(ONVP) to clarify use of the tax. In 1969 the tax goes from 0.3% to 0.5% of the
"
business AWS (Annual Weighted Salary). Of 1978 the project Learning"
developed by ONVP is taking place. November 17

Due to the composition of its decision-making bodies, the DFVT is a tripartite
body, a development tool in the service of the Ivorian nation.
The operation of DFVT is provided by:

INTRODUCTION

Continuing vocational training and learning is growing new in Côte d'Ivoire with
the creation of DFVT (Development Fund for Vocational Training) January 8
th
,
1992. Real tool for design, organization and management of vocational training,
DFVT is a funding agency with autonomy under administrative supervision of the
Ministry of Economy and Finance and more recently in conjunction with the
Ministry of technical education. He guides, leads and implements the funding
policy of continuing professional development and learning in Ivory Coast. Its
objective is also in the development, monitoring and evaluation of training
projects. It also performs the tasks of information, support and advice from all.
Development Fund for Vocational Training at the end of this exercise statistics on
stocks, vocational training projects or studies that were approved during the year.
These statistics are based on financial commitments (approvals) prior to
implementation of actions. Companies have 24 months to complete their training
plan. They then make refund requests. Refund requests are closed after three
years. After which it is possible to present statistics on the training plans of
companies registered during the exercise by the DFVT and actually made. The last
production of these statistics is that of fiscal 1997. In 1998, new software AS400
was introduced at DFVT for storing information in anticipation of bug 2000. This
transition has not caused the production of statistics made since 1998. During the
year 1999 computer scientists have harnessed to work updated in computer and
information daily on new information. How to produce optimally statistics
achievement from this new software? What is the DFVT effort by funding
training?
This report is a presentation of the methodology for compiling statistics on
completed, the results of the training activities authorized and conducted in 2000
and actually made (for which the DFVT received requests for refunds with
receipts provided) and a brief analysis of these results. It will lead to proposals to
computerize training activities authorized and carried out and recommendations
for monitoring implementation of training

Initially we will provide a methodological approach for the production of statistics
on the activities, then a form to record information about students having
completed the training
In a second step we will do an analysis of the results we have obtained in order to
situate the achievements of DFVT in 2000.
We conclude with a proposal for computerization and management information
on training activities on training.
