'Meeting Place' application form

Introduction

The idea of the Meeting Place (former Investors' Café) is that a company or financial institution

organises one work-shop or seminar within the JDE building of the Committee of the Regions in

partnership with regions and cities where possible. We encourage partnerships between companies,

regions/cities and banks, but will adapt to the needs and preferencesof our partners.

For example it can be envisaged to have 4 half-day slots of specificic topics such as 'innovation':

Meeting Place partners could start with a seminar/workshop in the morning, followed by a

networking opportunity in a dedicated area on the 5.+6. floor, where there will be a possibility to

have stands of the companies, financial institutions and partner regions/cities. The morning slot

could finish with a lunch or reception. In the afternoon it is envisaged to have a second slot under a

different topic e.g. climate change and so on.

This Meeting Place application form is composed of 3 parts:

Application form (Excel document)

•

Brussels Events description (Word document)

•

Pictures and logos (to be provided in jpg or eps format)

All these completed documents need to be be submitted to the organisers as indicated in 2.6 (see the

Information Pack) in both printed and electronic versions (on a CD).

Table A needs to be completed with the name and all details of the Meeting Place partner =

Company or Financial institution.

Important: Direct contact details of the person responsible for

the OPEN DAYS 2009 within the Company / Financial institution office need to be provided.
