cine 3D Bridging Device for In-Theater Broadcasts The Dimension-3Dcine is a unique and highly versatile 3D Format converter / Multiplexer dedicated for viewing live 2D and 3D events in movie theaters.The versatility of the Dimension-3Dcine makes it suitable to fit into virtually all live events work flows: -Decodes Sensio 3D live events to Dual Stream HD-SDI Cinema Projectors -Decodes live 2D events to Cinema Projectors -Pass-through Dual Link HD-SDI with or without Cine Link II encryption

The Dimension-3Dcine is used in theaters to provide a way to decode Sensio 3D live events or watch a movie from a Digital Cinema Server without the need to manually reconfigure the cabling. It connects to the live event IRD, the DCI server and the DCI projector and allows the user to select one of several available operation modes:

Live 2D HDMI: -Converts HDMI to HD-SDI YCbCr 422 where both HD-SDI outputs carry the same signal Live 3D_S HDMI: -Converts HDMI with Sensio 3D to Dual Stream HD-SDI YCbCr 422 Live 3D_S HDSDI: -Converts HD-SDI with Sensio 3D from Input-A to Dual Stream HD-SDI YCbCr 422 Movie dualHDSDI: -Pass through Dual Stream HD-SDI to Dual Stream HD-SDI from input to output where Cine Link 2 will be preserved if present.

In all Live modes, the first audio pair is de-embedded from the HDMI or HD-SDI input to the AES12 digital audio output connector. If the audio is AC3, it will stay that way and will not be decoded to PCM.
