SSL ensures that the information is sent, unchanged, only to the server you intended to send it to. Online shopping sites frequently use SSL technology to safeguard your credit card information. Typical solutions require multiple authorizations including passwords and correctly identifying the computer to be remotely accessed. Then the data is encrypted for transfer between PCs. Today most remote access applications must contain a certain degree of firewall compatibility both protecting the integrity of the network without requiring indepth configuration by the user. Sophisticated access programs may grant administrators the ability to monitor usage or create realtime reports of corporate, client, and group usage. Some solutions enable shutting down, locking, and rebooting workstations; logging off users, and viewing installed programs.
A remote access application typically opens a new window for every instance of remote access to allow viewing of the accessed PC or host’s desktop. Some applications allow the display to be resized. The most userfriendly solutions require minimal input and can actually distinguish between different operating systems on the host and open an appropriate window or Java applet. YOU WILL RECEIVE MONTHLY OR YEARLY REMOTE SERVICES AS DESCRIBED, INCLUDED IN YOUR PURCHASE OF THE SERVICE.
THIS AGREEMENT is made between Sequim PC, with its principal place of business at 359 N. Matriotti Ave, sequim, wa 98382and___________________________________with its principal place of operation_________________________________________________
For a period of monthly or yearly from the date hereof (the "Remote Management ") and any renewal Management Term, Sequim pc will supply the services described below to Customer with respect to the computer monitoring and remote access
 Purpose of Agreement. You (hereinafter “Customer”) desire that Sequim PC. (hereinafter “provider”) maintain complete Remote management and Monitoring listed below. Sequim PC is willing to provide these services upon the terms and conditions herein.
 Term. This agreement shall, unless earlier terminated pursuant to paragraph 8 below, remain in full force and effect for an initial term of one (1) month(s) or (1) year(s). Thereafter, this Agreement shall automatically renew for additional one (1) month(s) (1) year(s) renewal terms, provided that Customer pays the current renewal fee to Sequim PC, or unless either party terminates this Agreement in accordance with paragraph 8 below.  Maintenance Charge. The maintenance charge described, shall cover all services provided hereunder, but shall not cover costs of any materials, parts, manuals, software, travel, or other disbursements as may be necessary or requested by Customer, which shall be billed to Customer as separate costs when they occur.  Remote Management Services. After the purchase, Sequim PC shall, in exchange for payment of the Remote Service Fee, perform the following management services: (a)24x7 monitoring means we always know what is going on with your computer network(b)Notification when a warning or failure threshold is passed(c)Current and historical status of the network, available from anywhere via a web interface(d) Updates. Customer will receive all standard Maintenance Updates , during the paid service period. A ‘Maintenance Update” is a modified version of a software or equipment provided by the manufacturer generally to its existing Customers without charge, primarily to correct or eliminate problems in the prior release of the software and/or equipment and also to enhance existing features (example: Updating from revision 4.1.1 to revision 4.1.2. Updating from revision 4.1 to revision 4.2 or even updating from revision 4.2 to revision 5.0); it does not include new versions or upgrades of any software or equipment for which Sequim PC generally
charges an additional fee (example: upgrading from a Microsoft Server version of software to a Microsoft Advanced Server version of any program any new modules or products. (b) Other Services. All services not listed above, such as additional onsite assistance or maintenance, and any requested modifications to the computer, shall be performed by Sequim PC, at its  current standard hourly rates, and subject to such other written agreements as may be required by Sequim PC. (e) Take control of your computer and make necessary repairs (f) Maintenance will commence on a mutually agreed upon date and time and will be performed monthly (1 time per month), unless otherwise agreed to by both parties.  Modifications by Customer. Sequim PC shall not be responsible for maintenance of or for repair of problems or malfunctions occasioned by any modification or enhancement to the computer(s) made by Customer or by anyone other than Sequim PC. Any modifications or enhancements made by Customer or by anyone other than Sequim PC shall be the customer’s responsibility and additional charges may occur for repairing any additional equipment or software, not originally contracted  If the Customer elects to install the equipment or software without the assistance of an Sequim PC, certified implementation specialist, the Customer is solely responsible for insuring that the Programs are installed properly to achieve their intended results and the results actually obtained. Accordingly, Sequim PC shall have no responsibility or liability under this Service Agreement or any warranty hereunder, to the extent such warranty exists, to correct, validate, bring into compliance or otherwise remedy any problem with the Programs that is caused in whole or in part by the improper or inadequate installation of the Programs by Customer or incompatibility of Customers environment, hardware or software with the Programs.
 LIABILITY. ALL SERVICES AND MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED BY SEQUIM PC. IN NO EVENT SHALL SEQUIM PC, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND/OR CONSULTANTS, BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES EVEN IF THE CUSTOMER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ARISING FROM THE SERVICES PROVIDED HEREUNDER.
 Termination. Sequim PC may terminate this Agreement upon ten days’ written notice to Customer in the event Customer fails to pay the Remote Service Fee within fourteen (14) days of the date of invoice or breaches any of the terms set forth herein. Customer may terminate this Agreement immediately at any time, provided that it is responsible for the full amount of all remote Management payments due through the end of the term, unless termination is due to breach by Sequim PC.
. GeneralEntire Agreement. This Agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all existing agreements and all oral, written or other communications between them concerning its subject matter. However, If Customer has received or renewed, whether written or oral, a maintenance contract for service and or support from Customer’s software provider or any other third party, said contract will supercede this Premium Maintenance Agreement and Customer will receive its service and or support from Customer’s software provider or such other third party. This Agreement shall not be modified in any way except by a writing signed by both parties.  Assignment. Customer may not assign this Agreement without prior written consent by Sequim PC. This Agreement shall be fully binding and enforceable as against all permitted assignees and successors in interest.  Enforceability. If any provision of the Agreement (or any portion thereof) shall be held to be invalid, illegal or enforceable, the validity, legality or enforceability of the remainder of this Agreement shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.  Notices. All notices shall be in writing and shall be forwarded by registered or certified mail or by overnight express courier requiring signature of the recipient to complete delivery, and sent to the parties at the addresses set forth at the top of this Agreement or to any other addresses designated in writing hereafter,. Notices sent by registered or certified mail shall be deemed delivered seven (7) business days after mailing; notices sent by express courier as described above shall be deemed delivered the day after they are given to the courier by the notifying
party. (g) Headings. The headings in this Agreement are intended for convenience of reference and shall not affect its interpretation.  NonWaiver. The failure of either Customer or Sequim PC to insist upon strict performance of any of the provisions contained herein shall in no way constitute a waiver of future violations of the same or any other provision.  No Third Party Rights. This Agreement does not create any rights in any third parties, except assigns, successors of heirs expressly permitted hereunder.
