Tutorial – SOLLIMS “STABOPS DIRECTORY”

GENERAL:The SOLLIMS STABOPS DIRECTORY provides a robust, dynamic and searchable database that stores and catalogs the names, missions and contact information of Stability Operations focused/tasked DOD organizations, Agencies and Actors.

ACCESSING THE STABOPS DIRECTORY:Select the “STABOPS_DIRECTORY” option from either the left menu or the top menu bar. This opens the STABOPS Directory interface where you can use various tool/sections to search directory records, add directory records or create a directory report.

CONDUCTING A STABOPS DIRECTORY SEARCH:You can search the STABOPS DIRECTORY from the main interface screen. You can refine your search results by selecting criteria that pertains to the records you seek.

To highlight and select more than one criterion from the drop downs, hold the ‘Control’ key when selecting. Once you have selected your criteria for your search, click on the ‘Find’ button to display the results.

VIEWING YOUR SEARCH RESULTS: Results are displayed below the search interface.

To view an organization’s information, click on the organization name.

NOTE: From this view you can print or email the organization’s info.

NOTE: You can select ‘book format’ to view more than one Directory record at a time.

ADDING A NEW ORGANIZATION:C lick on the ‘ADD A NEW ORGANIZATION’ link located above the search interface.

This will bring you to the Add A New Organization data submission form.

NOTE:All forms submitted are held in a pending status and not viewable to the SOLLIMS community at large until vetted by a SOLLIMS manager. Once approval is given by the SOLLIM’s manager, the record is placed in an active status and becomes viewable to all SOLLIMS members.

EDITING & DELETING DIRECTORY RECORDS: To edit a record you have submitted, click on the edit icon. This will reopen the electronic form and allow you to make changes and then save them. To delete a record you have created, click on the delete icon. This will permanently delete the record from SOLLIMS.

Once you have completed filling out the data form, click on the ‘Save’ button to submit.

NOTE:You can only edit and delete Directory records you have created.

CREATING A REPORT: You may find that you need a report that groups organizations based on a particular area of stability operations - i.e. stability policing - and that allows you to provide comments on or an overview of these groups. To create this type of report, select the ‘CREATE A DIRECTORY REPORT’ link located above the search interface.

The Directory Report Builder interface allows you to create new reports as well as store and edit previously created reports. To create a new report, select the ‘CREATE A NEW STABOPS DIRECTORY REPORT’ LINK.

This opens the ADD A NEW STABOPS DIRECTORY REPORT interface.

Once this form is completed and saved, your report will be viewable in the Directory Report Builder interface.

In order to add directory records to the report, click on the blue

To select records to add to the report, return to the STABOPS Directory interface by selecting the link.

Search for records to add to your report using the search interface. Note that the blue icon is now associated with each record shown from your search results.

To select a record to add to your report, click on the blue icon. You will receive a ‘pop-up’ notification that the record has been added to your report.

Once you have completed adding records to the report, click on the ‘CREATE A DIRECTORY REPORT’ link to return to the ‘Directory Report Builder’ interface.

From the ‘Directory Report Builder’ interface click on the title of your report.

This will take you to the report interface where you can generate the report or edit and delete records you have added to the report. To generate the report, click on the link provided.
