Pep Boys Launches Audio/Video InStore Marketing CampaignTire Business staff report & copyNEW YORK (June 23, 2008) Automotive aftermarket retailer Pep BoysManny, Moe & Jack has hired IOHI to provide an instore audio and video marketing campaign for the chain's 562 locations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Formerly known as Impressions On Hold, IOHI has implemented its "IOHI OnHold" overhead marketing messages and "IOHI Atmospheres" instore music products at all Pep Boys stores. All IOHIdesigned audio and video marketing campaigns are controlled from the IOHI corporate data center, the company said, effectively eliminating the need for manual intervention by Pep Boys employees at the store level. Both hardware operation and media transmission quality can be monitored by IOHI and reported to Pep Boys for quality assurance and returnoninvestment measurement, it added. IOHI said it will transmit both Spanish and English messaging into Pep Boys stores where appropriate and, after an extensive lifestyle and demographics analysis of Pep Boys' core clientele, will customize messages and music by market.
