As a result, numbered memorandum CC00-185, Program Audit Procedures waspresented to college presidents at the July 20, 2000 Presidents’ Association meeting. This numberedmemorandum serves as an update to and rescinds the aforementioned memorandum.The information listed below outlines the major components of the annual program audits to beconducted during the 2004-2005 fiscal year. While the program audit procedures vary somewhat fromyear to year, due to changes in legislation, State Board and System Office policy, and theAdministrative Code, the core components of the audit essentially remains the same as in prior years. I. Pre-Program Audit Reviews a. The college prior year Audit Report, Response, and other documents are reviewed toensure proper steps were taken to resolve any exceptions and concerns. The local boardminutes are reviewed to ensure that the board has reviewed the audit findings for theprevious year. b.
