The collection of three articles presented below consider some aspects of the work achieved by the Human Sciences team of the INRP Department of Didactics. How are history and geography taught ? Sample of lessons meant for the upper level of primary education and the 1st form of secondary education. - In the context of a multi-subject research on the transition between primary and secondary education, more than a hundred of lessons have been analysed and observed in the upper grade of primary education and in the 1st form of secondary education. These systematic observations concerned some formal aspects of teaching situation as well as intellectual and cognitive aspects.
