Description
The experimentation described in this article concerns a neglected dimension of the didactics of reading. Learning to read usually focuses on the acquisition of linguistic skills, skipping over microskills - such as being able to stop, then start again reading or to annotate a text - though they are essential tools for the interpretation of a long text. This article presents an investigation conducted in an infant class, about the way pupils achieve these ordinary skills and the effect of this progressive mastery on texts understanding and interpretation.
