Mit Beschluß vom 27. Juli 1991 erklärte der Rat der Europäischen Gemeinschaften das Jahr 1992 zum „Europäi­
schen Jahr für Sicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz am Arbeitsplatz".
In demselben Beschluß hat der Rat auch die Durchführung eines audiovisuellen Festivals vorgesehen.
Mit der Veranstaltung des Europäischen Videofilmfestivals in Thessaloniki setzt die Kommission den Beschluß
des Rates um und verfolgt das Ziel, eine möglichst große Anzahl von Filmproduktionen anzuregen und zu
prämiieren.
Das vorliegende Dokument enthält Informationen über die für die Veranstaltung ausgewählten Filme und ihre
Produzenten. Es ist nicht lediglich als Festivalkatalog gedacht, es soll vielmehr zum Instrument für alle diejenigen
werden, die Zugang zu den Produktionsquellen der zwölf Mitgliedstaaten wünschen.
ΠΡΟΛΟΓΟΣ
Στις 27 Ιουλίου 1991, το Συμβούλιο των Ευρωπαϊκών Κοινοτήτων ανακήρυξε το 1992 «ευρωπαϊκό έτος για την
ασφάλεια, την υγιεινή και την υγεία στο χώρο εργασίας».
Με την ίδια απόφασί), το Συμβούλιο προέβλεψε τη διοργάνωση ενός οπτικοακουστικού φεστιβάλ.
Διοργανώνοντας το ευρωπαϊκό φεστιβάλ βιντεοταινίας της Θεσσαλονίκης, η Επιτροπή εφαρμόζει την απόφαση
του Συμβουλίου και αναλαμβάνει να προωθήσει και να ανταμείψει τον μεγαλύτερο αριθμό παραγωγών.
Το παρόν έγγραφο περιλαμβάνει ορισμένες πληροφορίες σχετικά με τις ταινίες που επελέγησαν για την εκδήλωση
αυτή και σχετικά με τους οργανισμούς που κατέστησαν δυνατή την πραγματοποίηση τους. Ο στόχος του
υπερβαίνει το πλαίσιο ενός απλού καταλόγου για το φεστιβάλ και αποβλέπει να καταστεί ένα μέσο αναφοράς
για όλους εκείνους και εκείνες που θα ήθελαν να έχουν πρόσβαση στις πηγές παραγωγής των δώδεκα κράτων
μελών.
FOREWORD
On 27 July 1991 the Council of the European Communities declared 1992 the 'European Year of Safety, Hygiene
and Health Protection at Work'.
The same Council Decision stated that an audio-visual festival would be organised.
The Commission is holding the European Video Film Festival in Thessaloniki, to implement the Council Decision
and to promote and reward the largest possible number of productions.
This publication gives information on the films selected for the Festival and the contributing companies and
organisations. But it is not just a catalogue for the Festival: it will serve as a reference tool for anyone wishing to
have access to production sources in the twelve Member States.
AVANT-PROPOS
Le 27 juillet 1991, le Conseil des Communautés européennes a déclaré 1992 «Année européenne pour la sécurité,
l'hygiène et la santé sur le lieu de travail».
Dans la même décision, le Conseil prévoit l'organisation d'un festival audio-visuel.
En organisant le festival européen du film vidéo de Thessalonique, la Commission met en œuvre la décision du
Conseil, et s'attache à promouvoir et à récompenser le plus grand nombre de productions.
Le présent document reprend un certain nombre d'informations sur les films retenus pour cette manifestation et
sur les organismes qui en ont permis la réalisation. Sa vocation dépasse le cadre d'un simple catalogue pour le
festival, et vise à devenir un instrument de référence pour tous ceux et celles qui voudront avoir accès aux sources
de production des douze états membres.
