After the underlying radiation mechanismsas well as the observatories used for the analyses are introduced, this work focuses ontwo very di erent kinds of astrophysical objects. In the rst part of this work, multi-wavelength observations of the surroundings ofthe previously unidenti ed VHE -ray source HESS J1626 490 are presented. Thisobject is particularly interesting as it could not be associated to any obvious source ofhighly energetic radiation, such as a powerful pulsar or a young supernova remnant.
