Coordonné par le Centre Collaborateur OMS pour la sécurité des patients (Joint Commission International), ce projet réunit 8 pays : Australie, Allemagne, Pays Bas, Canada, Etats-Unis, Singapour, République de Trinité-et-Tobago, France.L’objectif général du projet High 5s est de réduire, de façon pérenne et mesurable, des problèmes majeurs liés à la sécurité des patients. Plus précisément, High 5s vise à évaluer la faisabilité et l’impact de solutions standardisées déployées au sein d’établissements volontaires dans les huit pays participants, pendant 5 ans. INTRODUCTION

 The one-day First Internaonal High 5s Hospital Meeng took place at the World Health Organizaon (WHO) Headquarters in Geneva on 19 October 2012. The meeng provided a plaorm where High5s hospital teams and Lead Technical Agencies (LTAs) met to discuss experiences, share best pracc- es, compare evaluaon data and provide recommendaons and best ways forward for the High 5s Project. The hospital meeng served as a hub for an inter-country exchange of knowledge and implementaon experiences to strengthen and movate commitment by hospitals.  The meeng brought together 80 parcipants represenng 31 High 5s hospi- tals from Australia, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Singapore and the United States of America. Parcipants included technical and management hospital staff, LTAs, WHO Collaborang Centre and WHO Paent Safety Programme staff. Three High 5s experts from Canada and the United States of America joined the meeng.  This publicaon presents the meeng report and posters exhibited at WHO by the parcipang High5s hospitals from Australia, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Singapore.  For further informaon regarding the High 5s Project, please visit WHO web- site at / www.hp: / who. int/ paentsafety/ implementaon/ soluons/ high5s/ en/ index. htmland the High 5s website atwww. high5s. org. 5
