Revue d'histoire de la pharmacie - Année 1978 - Volume 66 - Numéro 237 - Pages 85-88The Legend of Notre-Dame-de-Liesse in the hospital pharmacy at Troyes. In the ancient pharmacy of the hospital of Troyes (Aube), are several pharmacy jars of white and blue earthenware from Nevers. Two others, fully decorated, are said to originate from Lyon and illustrate the legend of Notre-Dame-de-Liesse and the epic of three Knights of Rhodes. They might have been made in the beginning of the XVIIIth century with decoration taken from the compositions of J. Stella or the engravings of Thomassin, which illustrated a contemporary book. 4 pages Source : Persée ; Ministère de la jeunesse, de l’éducation nationale et de la recherche, Direction de l’enseignement supérieur, Sous-direction des bibliothèques et de la documentation.
