    PALUDRINE 100 mg, scored tablets B/56 (CIP: 332 098-1)   Applicant: ASTRAZENECA   proguanil ATC code: P01BB01   List II   Marketing authorisation date: 18/07/1989    Reason for request: The Committee has been asked by the Minister for Health and Solidarity to consider whether it would be appropriate:   1) for malaria chemoprophylaxis to be reimbursed by National Insurance for individuals living in areas of Guyana where malaria is not present and who travel to zones where malaria is endemic on a single occasion or infrequently, spending less than three months there.   2) for malaria chemoprophylaxis to be reimbursed by National Insurance for individuals living in Mayotte.                                 Health Technology Assessment Division
