Ein Pharmazeut aus Poitiers, Schüler Orfila's.
Prosper Malapert (1798-1887) war Professor an der Schule fur Medizin und Pharmazie von Poitiers, und Schüler des Toxicologen Orfila. Er schrieb kissenschaftliche Beiträge mit Richtung auf praktische Anwendungen und war der Erfinder eines seltsamen Apparates, « Le Molleteur », zum genauen Kochen von weichen Eiern. Er genoss eine gewisse Berühmtheit als Toxicologie-Sachverständiger im La Meilleraye-Prozess (Deux-Sèvres), 1867-1868, als gewisse wichtige Probleme zur Kenntnis von ganz Frankreich kamen, dank der Pariser Presse.

Professor at the School of Medicine and Pharmacy in Poitiers, and student of the toxicologist Orfila, Prosper Malapert (1798-1887) was the author of scientific publications oriented toward practical applications and the inventor of a strange apparatus, the « Molleteur » - designed to cook soft-boiled eggs to the right degree. He enjoyed a certain reknown as an expert toxicologist in the legal proceedings of « La Meilleraye » (Deux-Sèvres), in 1867-1868, where some important problems became known all over France by the importance given to them by the French press.
