PROGRAMME PROGRESS REPORT*(PPR) JRC-PETTEN FOR THE PERIOD 1.7.1979 - 31.12.1979 ON THE PROGRAMME: HIGH TEMPERATURE MATERIALS Abstract The programme, in support of the Joint Research Centre's action on new energy sources, is aimed at promoting Community wide progress by helping to ensure availability of high temperature materials (HTM) in the most critical areas of development. To satisfy this objective the activities of the HTM programme involve both experimental studies of the behaviour of metallic materials at elevated tempe­rature and the collection and distribution of information relevant to high temperature applications. This work is carried out at the Petten Establishment. *) This PPR is composed of 2 volumes, i.e. 'Summary' and 'Main Report'.
