July - December 1979 Programme Progress Report JRC Ispra July-December 1979 MANAGEMENT OF NUCLEAR MATERIALS AND RADIOACTIVE WASTE Abstract This document is the progress report of the programme Management of Nuclear Materials and Radioactive Waste of the Joint Research Centre for the period July -December 1979: The programme consists of three projects. The main achievements during the reporting period were the following : Project 1 - Evaluation of the long-term hazard of radioactive waste disposal In the framework of a Risk Analysis Group the JRC is promoting contacts between people of the Community working in the area of risk assessment of geological disposal.
