Description
After a spectacular growth, based on intensive animal production, the « model Breton agricultural farming », confronted by a context of increased European and international competition and a relative saturation of the market, has, since 1982-83, made its fragility widely known ; crisis in poultry farming (the export of chickens and eggs), the pig crisis, and milk quotas. The forms of farming mobilization (as far as the Monetary compensatory amounts are concerned, and the tariff policy of the S.N.C.F., etc.) convey the divergence of interests and analyses at the heart of modernized agriculture.
