Job description :

-

Planning responsible.

Represent the contractor to coordinate all activities between erection and production.

To manage the activities of system coordinating and section leaders.

To inform the production responsible of the commissioning states.

To be at erection phase as actions requester.

-

Responsible of the installation transfer from erection to production by foreseen orders.

Organization :

Creation of a branch in the organization chart

This branch is composed by :

-

One commissioning superintendent.

-

One engineering supervisor.

-

Four section leaders for each specialization (piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).

-

Eight system coordinating : one for each part.

Commissioning phases :

1. End of erection.

2. Pre-commissioning : two sub phases :

-

Verification phase (hydrostatic pressure and tightness tests; Static verification for mechanical

equipment ; electrical checking without voltage, instrument adjustment).

-

Simulation or blank tests in local and remote control (interlocks, electrical control sequences , full loop

continuity).

3. Certificate for beginning the testing phase.

4. Commissioning : two sub phases

-

No load (run light) tests : Functional test phase (running tests with electrical power; motor rotation

direction, mechanical working , instruments partial and complete loop test, general shut down test,

safety devices test, interconnection test)

-

Run load test before start-up : performed with product as possible, or through simulation with

substitution product.

5. Date of Final Acceptance Certificate, with or without prejudice :

Supervision of process test (adjustments while the equipment are operated up to design rating;
