T he moon had disappeared! Night had fallen but the moon hadn’t come out! There was panic in the little kingdom of the sea. “Without the moon, the sea won’t have high tides and low tides anymore,” observed the old seagull. “How extremely annoying!” “Maybe it’s been kidnapped,” fretted the shrimp. Everyone trembled at the thought. Better not to think about it. But the next day, a fish found a message rolled up in a bottle.

The message read: “I have taken the moon prisoner. I now have the brightest kingdom in the whole ocean. If you ever want to see the moon again, bring me something brighter! Signed: King Triton.”
