WHO WAS WALT DISNEY?
It’s impossible to imagine a world without the fabulous creations of Walt Disney. He changed entertainment into what it is today. He pioneered animation and he invented new technologies to improve his films.
















During his career in Hollywood as a producer, which spanned 43 years, the motion picture industry became an art form. In addition to his many animated films, Disney became known for his exciting theme parks, which were built all over the world.






EARLY LIFE
On December 5, 1901, Walt Disney was born on a cold morning in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of four, he moved with his family to a farm located in Marceline, Missouri. He lived there with his parents, his father Elias, his mother Flora and his three brothers named Herbert, Raymond and Roy. He was the youngest of the boys in his family and eventually his younger sister Ruth was born. It was on this country farm that Walt first learned to love drawing.
