Introduction
Bears are mammals. They are warm blooded, covered with hair, have a spine and they feed their babies with milk. They come in different shapes, sizes and colors.
Figure 1: Bears are cute when they are little cubs. But when they grow into full adult size, they can be really scary.
1.Bears are omnivores. That means they eat both meat and plants.
2.They are not too picky about food. In fact, they would even eat animal carcasses.
3.Although they are big and strong, bears will only attack when they feel threatened.
4.They are quite enormous but they are actually shy. They will hide when they feel like they need to.
5.A male bear is called a boar. A female bear is called a sow and a baby bear is called a cub.
6.They live in various parts of the world.
