Foreword

T HIS BOOK SEDUCTION and the LIFE of a YOUTH is a wonderful and perfect research from the word of God. Written with facts and figures enough to open the eyes of any youth and single willing to be freed from the trap of seduction. I am certain and sure that this will be another avenue of escape from the world s prison of destiny wastage for slaves who no longer loves their chains.
It is a good work expected to come from an old and experience teacher of the word but surprisingly has been produced by a seemingly young fellow for that matter. It is therefore approve of the Holy Spirit in action and hope for our generation. God bless whoever buy and read this book in Jesus name. Amen.

INTRODUCTION

T AKING A CRITICAL LOOK at the lives of youths of this generation, I discovered that every one of us (both believers and unbelievers alike) is faced with same kind of temptations. Some through the help of the Holy Spirit have been able to overcome after struggling with it for a very long time, some are yet to overcome it while others have not yet known that they are faced with a kind of problem that needs divine attention with urgency. Those who are aware of it don t know how to go about being set free in order to overcome. They find themselves falling into this same sin over and over again, afterwards they are overwhelmed with regrets but to others, it is a norm for them since they have no knowledge of God in them.
Let us examine what the bible says concerning them:
And even as they did not like to retain God in their Knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient. Romans 1:28
It went further to list those things classified as not being convenient;
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy , murder, debate ,deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Romans 1:29-32
After listing those things referred to as inconvenient, God said that both those who do them, they that have pleasure in them that do such things, shall be put to death. But even after the stringent warning, people still engage in it, neglecting what the bible says.
2 Timothy 2:19: Nevertheless the foundation of the Lord standeth sure, having this seal; the Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let everyone that nameth the name of the Christ depart from iniquity.
From the two bible passages above, it can be seen that most of these vices are mostly common in the lives of young persons, and of which most of them profess to be Christians. Having being occupied by these sins neglecting the warning, to depart from iniquity and escape the impending danger.
May God open the heart of your understanding and minister his word to you as you read. God bless.
CHAPTER ONE: THE LIFE OF A YOUTH

L
iving life as a youth could be very challenging because of the difficulty in adapting to changes that take place within and outside our body systems. These various changes make the life of an average youth to be full of adventures, wanting to do too many things at the same time, which could be detrimental to his/her own life. It is discovered that most a times they enjoy doing it because of the gain of the present moment, forgetting the fact that they stand to face the consequence(s) of their actions in the nearest future. These various changes which make up the life of an average youth is however of a minor consequence when compared to the life of a youth that chooses to live a God fearing life.
Living a Godly life as a youth entails giving up youthful exuberance and all that pertain to youthful experience; to seek and follow God. For instance, an average young person loves to hang out, go to parties, smoke cigarette, and sometimes try Indian hemp, tramadol and embark on uncontrolled tours with friends. These activities summarily are found in the life of a regular youth. For a youth who aims to serve God, and lives a godly life, one must avoid these forms of lifestyle as it is against God s life pattern for His followers.
Serving God as a youth is a choice and one who chooses to live for God must be prepared to give up the world. It may appear that a youth who chooses to live for God is missing out, but the truth is that you actually miss a lot for sticking to Christ Jesus.
