What Ś it like living ? in Tŝmania

MEL ANIE, 46, stay-at-home mum from Brigalow, Queensland, Australia I moved to Tasmania when I was 15. At first, I didn’t like it, because it was different from South Africa, but then I saw that it was beautiful,cleanandsafe. Now I live on the Australian mainland, but I have many good memories of Tasmania and many good friends who still live there.

AXEL, 18, student from Brighton, England, UK If you want aquietlife, it’s the perfect place to live. I was on holiday for two months in Tasmania last year, and it was boring. There is nothing forteenagers to do, and everybody knows each other. Maybe I will go back one day when Iretire.

It’s beautiful and charming, but it’s not to  a destination if you are ambitious. It’s also not the best for people who love busy cities. I love living here place though; it’s perfect for me!

I lived inTassie for four years. It’s truly beautiful, and it is one of my favourite placeson Earth. The south is less rural than the rest of the island – there are a lot of museums and galleries in Hobart, but the economy isn’t good. It’s difficult to find work there.
