Domino's to Launch Gluten-Free Pizza PR Newswire LONDON, November 19, 2012 LONDON, November 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- - First pizza delivery company to launch pizza suitable for coeliacs - Domino's Pizza, the pizza delivery expert, is to launch a new gluten-free pizza on Monday [November 19, 2012]. The company is the UK's first major pizza delivery chain to provide a pizza which is suitable for coeliacs and those who are gluten-intolerant. Domino's Pizza Accredited by Coeliac UK, the national charity for people with coeliac disease, Domino's new gluten-free pizza will be available nationwide for delivery and collection orders from November 19, 2012. While some gluten-free products attract a premium, Domino's gluten-free pizza will be charged at the same price as its other pizzas. After rigorous testing, the company has found a gluten-free base which meets Domino's high standards for both quality and taste. The new pizza base will also be suitable for those who are allergic to dairy or lactose-intolerant and, as all Domino's pizzas are made to order from scratch, it can be ordered without cheese to provide a dairy-free pizza. Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director for Domino's, said: "It's been a long time coming but we can't wait to officially launch our new gluten-free pizza.
