Description

In this children’s story, a cockatoo and his best friends get up to some funny mischief early one morning with the washing that is hanging out to dry.
In the country of Australia lives Kokoo, an inquisitive young cockatoo who has taken an interest in the lives of a suburban family. There’s Charlie, a young boy, and his mother, and there’s also a dog named Pig.
Every morning, Pig comes running out the door, followed by Charlie, who brings Kokoo some birdseed for breakfast. Then one morning Charlie’s mother walks out with wet clothes to be hung on the line to dry. Kokoo is amazed to see knickers in every colour, including many with dots, stripes, or hearts. He laughs to see so many hanging out in the air—and then he has a wonderful, mischievous idea. Which pair would look best on him?
