Description

Samuel and Linda are a happily married couple who appear on the outside to have everything they need in life. In fact, all who know them agree they have gifts only God could give. Samuel is a talented sculptor and Linda is as beautiful as her fruitful garden. But what no one knows is that Samuel and Linda long for just one thing they cannot have: a child. As their fifteenth wedding anniversary approaches, Samuel wonders what he can give Linda to thank her for loving him. Knowing his wife is unable to bear a child, Samuel decides to create a little girl made from metal for her garden. As he searches for the best metal and toils in his shop, Samuel never realizes that a miracle is already in the works. The Metanical Princess is a touching childrens story that teaches perseverance, love, and faith as a married couple facing a heartbreaking challenge discovers the importance of never losing hope in life.

T here once lived a very happy loving couple, by the names of: Samuel, which means “given by God” and “Linda, which means “beautiful”.
They were every bit of their names.
Samuel was a very talented man, who worked hard with his hands and metal. If he had metal of any kind, he could make it into precious art.
He could make fine statues, but not just any statues. They were ”life like” so much, some people have made the mistake of speaking to them in passing, only to call them rude, when they would not speak back.
Now Linda was as beautiful as her garden. She too did wonders with her hands. People would come from miles away. In the far and near valleys and villages, on the other side of the mountains for her flowers and vegetables.
Her flowers could be plucked up and carried for two days, then replanted in any soil and they would still live, as if nothing had changed. Not one peddle would fall.
Her fruits and vegetables were the absolute Best. They were always fresh and their freshness lasted longer than any of their kind, everywhere. If anything could grow “Linda” could grow it.
Looking at these two, one would say they have no need for anything. All who knew them would say they had gifts, which only God could give.
Yet, their hearts longed for only one more thing they both wanted but was not able to have. A child, just one of their own! However deprived they may have felt, they live a happy fulfilled life. Treating everyone they met with love and respect. While everyday their love for each other grew stronger.
Each day Linda would wake up Samuel, by calling him her (Morado Principe) meaning “purple prince”. She always started his day with his favorites: Homemade Banana Nut Bread, and fresh baked sunflower seeds.
