Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Keane, in his Towers and Temples of Ancient Ireland, calls that of Devenish, the best specimen at present existent in Ireland, and he is cordially supported in this, by Mr. J. H. Parker, in the Gentleman's Magazine, for the year 1864, who says it is the most perfect in Ireland, though not one of the earliest.
