We need to know it is GOD's will and desire for his children to live a blessed, prosperous, healthy, and happy life. We need to know that we can live this life through faith in GOD and overcome difficult times and challenges in life. In order to do this, we need to know GOD and how he has sent his word to us. We must know how the power of GOD worked in the lives of people in the Bible and that power is still available for us today to change situations and circumstances on our behalf today no matter what we are facing. It is up to us to take our faith out of this world's system and put it in GOD's system. This book will be an inspiration for you to redirect your faith to GOD and lean on GOD for direction in your life. GOD is good and he wants to see good things happen in the lives of his children. We can experience the life that GOD intended for us to have through understanding and accepting the love and the grace of GOD that has been given to us through faith in Jesus Christ.

INTRODUCTION
Today more than ever, there seem to be constant talks of hopelessness. Hopelessness about the economy, cost of living, politics, natural disasters, education, unemployment, and more. But feeling hopelessness has the potential to come from what, where, and to whom you have decided to give your attention and faith. Do you choose to believe that tomorrow will be a better day, or do you believe that tomorrow will just be another day where things will never change? No matter where you are today, I want to encourage you to acknowledge your current situation, whether it is good or bad. Take a step forward and challenge yourself to go higher regardless of what lies in front of you at this very moment. It will require faith, which can be directed toward the positive or negative. Positive faith is depending on God and aligning your words, thoughts, and emotions to believe for the most favorable outcome in your situation. Trusting in God about situations instead of worrying. Negative faith is aligning your words, thoughts, and emotions with the unfavorable situation at hand without depending on God. Worrying about situations instead of trusting in God.
My prayer is that as you read this book, you will embrace living the life of faith by trusting God. God can take the words off the pages in this book and personalize them to you based on your situation in life. There are stories in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible that show us how different people dealt with situations based on how and where they decided to direct their faith. Living the life of faith is something that everyone does daily. This book is intended to encourage you to align or realign your faith in God.
Ten years ago, I wrote this book because I wanted to share with others about living the life of faith depending on God. Over the years, my spiritual maturity and personal growth have been impacted by life experiences that led me to republish this book. Things may change and people may change but no matter what, God is still good, and living the life of faith in God remains as true today as it was ten years ago. Republishing this book had been in my heart for several years, but I just didn’t follow through. Thank God for His grace and mercy that gives us the ability and the courage to take a step of faith amid past mistakes, procrastination, and just life with its numerous ups and downs. May God bless you and the time you have devoted to reading my book. Please know that I do not take it for granted. I hope this book will bring encouragement to you in living the life of faith.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
Where do you find peace when peace seems nowhere to be found? Where do you find joy when you experience moments filled with disappointments or unexpected changes to your plans in life? Where do you find love when you feel no one cares about you and what you are going through? God is the answer to each of those questions. The type of peace and unconditional love that will never leave you throughout life no matter where you go and what you do is found in God. God loves you and wants to be a part of your life.
This world is full of people and material things which leads to us often looking for peace, joy, and love. God has made these things available to us by sending his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and offering us the gift of salvation. Salvation is a gift that can either be accepted or not accepted. This salvation offers to us a new life and a new beginning to turn everything that concerns us over to God. It leads us to a place of purpose and to enter God’s plan for our life. It doesn’t matter what has happened to you or what you have done in life, God’s love is available to all those that will come because God desires for all to receive salvation through Jesus.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be s aved.
Salvation is just as much about believing in your heart as it is about speaking out of your mouth. If you believe in your heart and would like to accept Jesus into your life at this time, speak this confession of faith. “God, I want to invite Jesus into my heart so that I can be saved. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and God raised Jesus from the dead for my eternal salvation. From this day forward, I choose to let you lead, guide, and correct me in life. I am saved.”
CHAPTER ONE Laying Hold of the Goodness of God through Faith
Whether you realize it or not, you are living the life of faith right now just by going about your daily routine. From the time you get up to start your day, a constant is always occurring in your life: your faith. It does not take a major event to justify your faith. Your daily routine is proof that faith in something or someone is taking place in your life. Faith in what you will receive, motivates your daily actions, whether exercising, attending school, or going to work. Faith in maintaining weight, losing weight, or staying physically fit causes people to exercise and keep a balanced diet. Faith in receiving a diploma, degree, or any type of certification results in people going to school and college. Working on a job, whether physically or remotely is what people do because of their faith in the ability of that job to provide the means for them to live. The expected results of exercise, school attendance, and work are not going to be immediate, but you trust that your daily actions will eventually provide you with tangible, sustainable results.
Most employees do not receive cash as a form of payment for their work on the same day the work is performed. Payday normally arrives either once a week, once a month, or bi-monthly. Going to work and finishing the day before being paid is an extreme act of faith which is a common and acceptable way of life. Just take a few minutes to think about this. You have worked all day and the only guarantee that you will be financially rewarded is your faith in the company’s ability to pay you based on the defined pay period. As a result of this, you make plans and set specific dates as to when you will pay your bills and what you can and cannot afford. No one would go to work with the intent of making a living without having the faith they would be compensated with pay. It is hard to believe that anyone would go to work with the intent of making a living without believing they would be financially compensated. Similarly, children are sent to school because of faith in the educational system to equip them with the knowledge to receive a high school diploma that will lead to further education in college or a job after graduation.
No one can exist without having faith in something or someone no matter how they choose to apply it, because living the life of faith is a daily experience. Confidence in this world’s system of living the life of faith has been embedded in our minds because we are taught from an early age that education will open doors to a career. Why? Because as a society, we have an extreme amount of faith that getting an education will lead to a better quality of life.
