Its award-winning voltage optimisation system can reduce electricity bills and Co2 emissions by up to 20% and has been installed by, among others, supermarket giants, railway stations, hotel and restaurant chains, factories and schools. It is the only voltage optimisation equipment on the market to offer a patented Intelligent Real Time Energy Monitor, which can track the savings voltage optimisation is producing at a site both remotely, and in real time. iVolt will also be launching a pioneering new product at the Energy Solutions show, which is set to revolutionise power supply to new builds. Regulars at the exhibition - which takes place this year fromOctober 10-11, next door to the FM event - may remember iVolt displaying another racing car, the Radical SR8, at the 2011 show. iVolt founder and managing director Manhal Allos, who races a Radical and used iVolt's technology to monitor his car's power consumption and offset its carbon emissions, said he was delighted to have teamed up with DRT to showcase their electric prototype racing car at this year's exhibition. Manhal said: "As well as the motor racing links, both iVolt and Drayson Racing Technologies share a passion for developing sustainable, green technology and we're delighted to have the B12/69EV on our stand at Energy Solutions 2012. This car is possibly the most exciting leap forward in racing car design in a generation and I think show-goers will be very interested to see it and find out a bit more about the principles shared by both businesses." As well as displaying the B12/69EV, the team will be performing live demonstrations of their IRT Energy Monitor over the course of the two days. To see the B12/69EV and meet the iVolt team at the show, email Katie.jackson@sollatek.com or visit http://www.energysolutionsexpo.co.uk to register for free tickets. Note to editors:
iVolt iVolt is part of the global Sollatek group which was founded by electrical engineer Manhal Allos in the UK in 1983. It has since grown rapidly, with offices in 14 countries and an active distribution network in 24 more. Its products are sold in more than 70 countries and it has manufactured and installed some 440,000 voltage stabilisers/regulators in major infrastructure projects. The group's impressive list of blue chip clients includes Siemens, Phillips Medical, Vodafone, National Grid, Airtel and Balfour Beatty. A voltage optimisation device, the iVolt works by monitoring the incoming power supply to a building and lowering it to a steady 220V (+/- 1.5%) - the level at which electrical equipment works best. It is unique in constantly assessing and delivering optimum energy savings - at least 30% more than fixed reduction voltage products. With a fully solid state design and therefore no mechanical parts, the iVolt provides faster voltage correction and requires no annual maintenance. Perhaps the most outstanding customer benefit is data on actual energy savings on a day-by-day basis - the most sought-after feature in the voltage optimisation industry because of the requirement for an accurate analysis of return on investment. Built to ISO9001 standards, production of the iVolt takes place at the company's facility near Heathrow Airport. Drayson Racing Technologies Drayson Racing Technologies LLP is a research & development business based in the heart of the UK's world-leading motorsport industry at Kidlington, near Oxford. Lord Paul Drayson, a former science entrepreneur and the UK Minister for Science and Innovation in the previous government, formed Drayson Racing Technologies to act as a racing laboratory to pioneer the development of green technologies in the challenging environment of motor sport. Since then, Drayson Racing has achieved a number of notable firsts racing second-generation biofuels and latterly focusing on the emerging field of electric racing.
