With what promises to be one of the highlights of the show, iVolt will display DRT's groundbreaking electric racing car at the London Olympia exhibition - fresh from its debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed where it made automotive history in front of thousands. The car - the B12/69EV - is the brainchild of green technology pioneer and former Minister of Science and Innovation Lord Drayson. It showcases advances such as inductive charging, composite battery power, moveable aerodynamics and electrical regenerative damping, making it one of the most innovative cleantech motorsport projects in the world. It also boasts more than 850 horsepower and a top speed of around 200mph. Based nearHeathrow, iVolt is also at the forefront of green technology. Its award-winning voltage optimisation system can reduce electricity bills and Co2 emissions by up to 20% and has been installed by, among others, supermarket giants, railway stations, hotel and restaurant chains, factories and schools.
