IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before you use your Air Purifier, please read this owner’s manual carefully

.

Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this owner’s manual.

1) Repair or replace immediately, all electric service cords that have become frayed or

otherwise damaged.

Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage along its

length, the plug or the connector end.

2) Unplug your air purifier before cleaning or before making any repairs.

NOTE

: If for any

reason this product requires service, we strongly recommend that a certified technician

perform the service.

3) Do not operate your air purifier in the presence of explosive fumes.

4) Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the air purifier as this may cause damage to

the unit.

5) Remove the filter from the plastic packaging before use, as this will damage the motor.

6) Never unplug your Air Purifier by pulling on the power cord.

Always grasp the plug firmly

and pull straight out from the outlet.

7) The power supply must be properly grounded.

8) Do not use the unit in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool. Do

not use in high moisture environments.

9) Unplug unit when not used for an expended period of time.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1) Remove the air purifier from the box and remove all packaging materials. Remove the filter

from the plastic packaging to prevent damage to the motor.

2) Press the POWER button to power up the unit. The blue screen will light up. Press the

SPEED button repeatedly to set the unit on high, medium, or low fan speed. The motor wind

wheel will display on the screen, indicating the fan is working.

3) To use the ionizer, press the IONIZER button once. There will be an icon on the display

indicating the ionizer is working. Press the ionizer button again to turn the ionizer off.

4) Press the TIMER button repeatedly to select 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours of running time. The

selected time will blink, then set automatically after 3 seconds.

5) The blue display lights up every time a button is pressed, and will automatically shut off after

30 seconds. The unit will also beep every time a button is pressed as part of normal

operation.

6) Press the POWER button to turn the unit off.

FILTER

The HEPA filter removes allergens, such as dander and pollen.

To maximize

filter effectiveness, particles can be negatively charged with the ionizer before

reaching the filters.

The active carbon filter eliminates gaseous pollutants such as cigarette and cigar

smoke or other volatile organic compounds such as most household paints.

For optimal performance, we recommend that you replace the air purifying filter

unit once a year. Please note that exceptionally dirty environments require

changing the filter unit more often. Do not reuse the filter unit.

CHANGING THE FILTER

1) Unplug the unit before changing the filter unit. Lay the unit on its back on a

firm surface.

2) Press the tabs on the filter frame towards each other to release the frame

from the unit and pull filter frame out.

3) Remove the old filter unit from the frame by pulling out on the four tabs and

lifting the filter unit out. Insert the new filter unit in the same orientation.

4)

Slide the filter frame back into the air purifier.

ADDITIONAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

To get the most from your air purifier, please follow the below instructions.

1) Place the air purifier 2 meters or more from a television or radio to avoid

interference.

2) Do not place air purifier where air may be blowing directly on the unit to avoid

impairing the normal circulation of air.

3) Keep a minimum 4 inches of space between the sides of the air purifier and a

wall.

4) Don’t place the air purifier where curtains can touch the unit, which may block

the airflow.

MAINTENANCE

To avoid electrical shock, always unplug your air purifier before cleaning.

Ignoring this

warning may result in injury.

Never clean with gasoline, chemical solvents or corrosive materials – they may damage the

surface.

5) Wipe the exterior with a soft, clean, damp cloth. You may use a mild

detergent if necessary.

6) Vacuum the air inflow and outflow vents with a soft brush attachment.

1)

Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if not, plug in.

2)

Check if there is electricity in the outlet.

3)

Confirm that the SPEED is set to low, medium, or high.

4)

Confirm that the filter unit has been removed from the plastic packaging.

WARRANTY

One Year Limited Warranty

Soleus International Inc. warrants the accompanying Soleus Air SA-50 to be free of defects in

material and workmanship for the applications specified in its operation instruction for a period

of ONE (1) year from the date of original retail purchase in the United States or Canada.

If the unit exhibits a defect in normal use, Soleus International Inc. will, at its option, either repair

or replace it, free of charge within a reasonable time after the unit is returned during the

warranty period.

As a condition to any warranty service obligation, the consumer must present this Warranty

Certificate along with a copy of the original purchase invoice.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

1) Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the unit while in the possession of a consumer not

caused by a defect in material or workmanship.

2) Damage caused by consumer misuse, tampering, or failure to follow the care and special

handling provisions in the instructions.

3) Damage to the finish of the case, or other appearance parts caused by wear.

4) Damage caused by repairs or alterations of the unit by anyone other than those authorized

by Soleus International Inc.

5) Filters.

6) Freight and Insurance cost for the warranty service.

ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY ARE

LIMITED TO ONE-YEAR DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY. SOLEUS

INTERNATIONAL INC. DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL

DAMAGES AND IN NO EVENT SHALL SOLEUS INTERNATIONAL INC’S LIABILITY EXCEED

THE RETAIL VALUE OF THE UNIT FOR BREACH OF ANY WRITTEN OR IMPLIED

WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THIS UNIT.

As some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages,

or do not allow limitation on implied warranties, the above limitations and exclusions may not

apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights

that vary from state to state.
