Determined to take revenge on Parandar, the fallen god Akuretari takes advantage of this diversion to hunt down the humans who are in control of Danalieth's supernatural weapons. When tragedy strikes the Kingdom of Diamond, King Onyx finally shows his true colours and tries to annex this kingdom to his own. Undeterred, his loyal friend Hadrian of Silver will try to make him listen to reason.
Frustrated by the incessant setbacks of his sorcerer, the Dark Emperor decides to launch his own offensive. His deadly intervention will finally set the prophecy into motion, but at the same time, deprive Lassa of his last defenders.

T he dreadful events that had occurred at the weddings of Knight Santo and Hawke the wizard left their mark on the inhabitants of the Castle of Emerald forever. During the years of peace that followed, the soldiers continued training their apprentices, but some wounds refused to heal. In the days after her husband’s abduction, Kira was inconsolable. Then she shut herself away in her own rooms. Only Jahonne’s magic enabled her to enter. She was Sage’s mother, and when she thought about how Sage had died so horribly at the hands of their sworn enemy, her pain was just as intense as Kira’s. But she also knew that in a war there were inevitably innocent victims.
Jahonne had held Kira in her arms not only for hours, but for days on end, transmitting more and more of her own strength to her. It took several months before Kira was able to dry away her tears. Finally, a funeral ceremony in honor of the brave Esperitian was held at the castle. The sadness in Kira’s violet eyes gave way to fury. After thanking her mother-in-law for spending so much time with her, she decided that the time had come for action. The prophecy claimed that Lassa was the one who would destroy A
