Introduction
I’m delighted to introduce this year’s autumn line-up on ITV2. Highlights include hard drinking off duty superheroes in our first original sitcom No Heroics, celebrities taking your holidays in their hands in CelebAir, the return of Billie Piper in a brand new series of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and more musical sendups in the second series of Katy Brand’s Big Ass Show. This autumn we’re not only launching a whole new season of shows, but we’re also refreshing the channel’s on-air look. We hope our fresh new look and revamped web site will perfectly compliment our exciting range of new shows. We’re also celebrating something that I believe sets ITV2 apart from most other multi channel stations; our fantastic roster of on screen talent. Viewers absolutely recognise and identify ITV2 with our stars and our new autumn promotional campaign will celebrate some of our biggest names including, Coleen McLoughlin, Jack Osbourne, Katie and Peter, Leigh Francis, Katy Brand, Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton, Matt Willis, and Emma Griffiths. This impressive array of stars sums up exactly what ITV2 is. They’re all larger than life celebrities, but they’re also all warm and human while still being young and aspirational. Despite increased competition over the past two years we’ve improved and developed what ITV2 is and consolidated our position as the number one

multichannel station in the UK. We have a distinctive young schedule which is not only popular with viewers but has also now gained recognition in the industry. Last year we won The Channel of the Year Awards not only at the Broadcast Digital Awards, but also at the Edinburgh TV Festival. In addition to that in the last twelve months we’ve received our first BAFTA and RTS awards. At the end of last year ITV2 was also named Marketing Week’s Media Brand of the Year - beating unknowns like Google and Facebook. On ITV2 we concentrate on creating exciting new programme brands. Over the past twelve months ITV2 has had more unique programmes exceed the one million viewer mark than BBC3, E4 or Sky One. So far this year 77 ITV2 programmes have generated over a million viewers with 73 of those being brand new to the channel, our nearest rival only managed 21. We’re really proud of our recent successes and we think our autumn line up is perfectly suited to the No.1 multichannel station in the UK. We hope you enjoy the new season on ITV2.
