SHANGHAI,Aug. 23, 2012/PRNewswire/ -- The 106th Edition of the China Daily Use Articles Trade Fair (CDATF), the largest and longest standing show for China's departmental store industry, recently concluded its first edition under the new banner of Reed Huabai Exhibitions. Held atShanghai's New International Expo Center, the event, which ran fromAugust 2 to August 4, registered tremendous success in every performance criteria. The synergies born of the new partnership between Reed Huabo Exhibitions, part of Reed Exhibitions China, and CCAGM Exhibition (Beijing) Holdings, were clearly evident as the scale of the show rose significantly from its 2011 edition. The success of CDATF 2012 is further testament to Reed Exhibitions' remarkable progress in expanding local markets through strategic joint ventures. Indeed,the show's exhibition area of 90,000 square meters, 3,800 booths and 22,608 visitors point to significant year on year improvements. In terms of scale, this year's show more than 30% larger than in 2011, with more exhibitors displaying homeware, glassware, ceramics, bamboo products, kitchen & metal accessories, textiles and numerous other wares.
