Sysnet Global Solutions announced the launch of its PCI DSS 3.0 Readiness Offering today at the PCI Security Standards Council's European Community Meeting in Nice. Sysnet Global Solutions Consulting Services specialises in Information Security consultancy and assessment services offering a range of information security services that include PCI DSS, ISO27002, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, CoBIT and other internationally defined standards.  

The PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a set of comprehensive requirements developed by the founding payment brands of the PCI Security Council for enhancing the security of payment account data, transactions and payment systems. The PCI SSC operates to a three year development lifecycle for its Payment Card Security Standards. New versions of the PCI DSS and PA DSS are to be published in November 2013, and will become active from January 2014. From January 2015, organisations will no longer be able to report using PCI DSS v2.0 and will be required to attest compliance with PCI DSS v3.0.

The announcement coincides with Sysnet's participation in the 2013 PCI European Community Meeting in Nice.  The Community Meeting takes place from 29^th - 31^st October 2013 and will focus on the updates to PCI DSS and PA-DSS.
